Atlanta IT Consultancy Greets 2015 with New Online, Physical Presence

Cumberland Group is embracing 2015 with a new online and physical presence. The Atlanta-based IT consultancy has launched its official website and moved into 10,000 square feet overlooking the junction of 1-75 and 1-285, near the future home of the Atlanta Braves.

Found at www.cumberlandgroupIT.com, the website offers prospective clients a robust overview of Cumberland Group’s services and approach. The office is located in suite 1600 at 300 Galleria Parkway, in the heart of the Cobb Cloverleaf business park, about 10 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta.

“We’re delighted to be fully positioned to partner with clients and help them make the best decisions about optimizing technology so they see immediate and meaningful changes across their organization,” said Cumberland Group President Ken Snuggs. “Cumberland Group is taking the lead in guiding businesses as they navigate the sometimes slippery terrain of IT trends and the shift from traditional service models to those that tap into the latest technologies.”

This announcement comes on the heels of the company’s official launch in late 2014, when veteran Atlanta-based IT and infrastructure provider Abacus Solutions, LLC announced Cumberland Group as a new venture focused on consulting.

Cumberland Group specializes in the tech industry’s shift to the so-called “third platform,” known as such because it follows the respective first and second platforms of mainframe and personal computing. Built on the latest technologies to come from mobile, cloud services, social networking, and analytics technologies, the third platform is altering IT’s landscape and prodding businesses to make significant changes.
