Cumberland Group is expanding its presence in the Southeast with a new space in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., which is the first office outside the company’s Atlanta headquarters. The announcement comes days before the IT consultancy marks its third anniversary.

“Cumberland Group has made its mark in an environment hungry for organizations specializing in bespoke IT solutions and long-term relationships, and we’re looking forward to a physical presence in Florida to better support the market there,” said President Ken Snuggs.

Regional Vice President of Sales Donnie Affanato, who will be leading the Fort Lauderdale office, said he’ll be working to grow the staff in coming months to support what he sees as a need in the Florida market for service-minded IT consultants.

“The entire Florida market is underserved by high-touch, engineering-focused solution providers,” said Affanato, a 21-year veteran of the Florida IT environment. “Cumberland Group’s approach aligns smart, optimized IT that prioritizes clients’ goals with a commitment to service throughout and after the process. That will be well-received here.”

Currently located in downtown Fort Lauderdale, the office will be space for predominately sales and engineering talent as the company grows its south Florida presence over the coming months.
